Current Status September, 2017 - The comment period has ended and the City of Berkeley is in the comment response period of the DEIR process. This is where the City has to respond to every comment that was made. We expect the comment responses in the next few weeks.
The next steps after the responses have been submitted will be a vote by the Zoning Board - TBA
and potentially a vote by the City Council - TBA
There were more than 1,500 comment letters submitted that were against the proposed development, and only 5 that were in support!
Please let your Berkeley elected officials know that you are against ANY development on the West Berkeley Shellmound (1900 4th Street)!
